BLUE SKY MUSIC SERIES IS BACK IN DOWNTOWN ATHENS

Well-loved lunchtime music series will delight listeners on Wednesdays during October and May

The Athens Downtown Development Authority announces the return of the Blue Sky Concert Series in Downtown Athens.  The Blue Sky Concert Series occurs on Wednesdays, during the months of October and May, on College Square.

Performances begin at 12:00 noon and end at 1:00 p.m. All performances are free of charge and open to the general public. Musical performers are local, and often include the youth of the Athens area.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for $450.00.

Many Athenians will remember these popular concerts from several years ago, as listeners would grab lunch Downtown and gather for the music. Downtown professionals, preschoolers just being picked up from school, UGA students and faculty, conference attendees, and the general public: all can be found enjoying the sounds at a Downtown Athens Blue Sky Concert! ADDA is proud to play a part in resurrecting the popular lunchtime concert series and fun Downtown tradition.
