Downtown Athens has partnered with local favorites, Jittery Joe's, to produce our very own coffee blend! It's named after local Downtown landmark, the Double-Barreled cannon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double-barreled_cannon).
Made of 100% Arabica coffee beans, it's a classic, nutty, toasted blend, full of flavor...like Downtown itself!
The 12oz cans are available either in ground or whole bean form. For those of you who love to grind your own espresso, the whole beans can make some great stuff!
The single pot pouches are only available ground and make one very strong pot of coffee, or two to three regular strength.
We had one couple who liked the coffee so much, that they bought the pouches for wedding favors! The pouches also make a great souvenir and are easily mailable for those who long for the Classic City. Care packages anyone?
