Athens 441, Live at the Morton Theatre, is Georgia Public Broadcasting's live performance showcase broadcasted from Hot Corner, the soul of Downtown Athens. At the leading edge of Georgia's musical community, Athens 441 furthers the Classic City's reputation as the No. 1 college music scene in the country. Athens 441 is broadcast on Sundays at 4pm over Georgia Broadcasting's 15-station NPR-affiliated network, which also spills into five surrounding states.
Athens Area Arts Council
The Athens Area Arts Council is a non-profit arts organization. It is staffed entirely by volunteers whose goal is to integrate the artistic resources of the of the Athens area into our educational system, local economy, and the culture of our community.

Film Athens is a non-profit networking and support organization working to educate, promote, and advocate the growth of the film community and film industry in the Athens, Georgia area. Film Athens supports aspiring filmmakers, and the local independent film scene through online resources, workshops, networking opportunities and events such as Sprockets Music Video Competition, Project TeenScreen.
Lyndon House Arts Center
The Lyndon House Arts Center is a center of excellence for the benefit and cultural enrichment of youth and adults. Gallery exhibitions, a historic house museum, festivals, workshops, art meetings, special events, and art classes aim to provide area citizens with a positive experience in the visual arts, encouraging them to appreciate the arts and to develop their creative talents. Lyndon House Arts Center operating hours are Tuesday & Thursday from Noon until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, Friday, Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Athens' Historic Showplace! Built in 1909-10 by Monroe Bowers ("Pink") Morton, it was described in 1914 by the Athens Daily Herald as the "largest building of its kind owned exclusively by a colored man in the world." It is one of the few remaining historically black vaudeville theatres in the nation and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. There is evidence that such greats as Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Cab Calloway, Jimmy Lunceford and Bessie Smith all performed in the Morton.

Athens-Clarke County Economic Development Department
The Athens-Clarke County Economic Development Department is the primary point of contact for industries, large commercial developments, site location consultants, and state economic development organizations interested in developing, expanding, or locating new or expanded businesses in Athens-Clarke County. Their primary goal is to attract and establish new businesses that will create additional jobs and import capital investment to Clarke County, Georgia. As this is a complex and competitive task, the organization is devoted to new business development along with sharing and promoting the numerous economic assets of the area.

Athens Twilight Criterium
Twilight?s location in the thriving entertainment district of downtown Athens and its consistently large, passionate crowd ensure the Twilight?s special status. Athens? uniqueness and charm is supported by the thousands of UGA graduates who view the Twilight as a homecoming occasion. Second only to football games, it is the largest event in Athens and is the highest income-producing weekend of the year for downtown retailers. Over one million people have viewed the Athens Twilight over its 25-year history. The Twilight weekend has become an annual springtime tradition in Athens, as well as attracting spectators and participants from around the world. Professional athletes and spectators comment that there is no other event anywhere in the world as diverse and all encompassing as the Athens Twilight.

A proactive force in developing community-wide understanding of the value of historic buildings, neighborhoods, and heritage.
BikeAthens promotes transportation and land-use policies that improve alternative modes of transportation, including pedestrian, cycling, and public transit options. The mission of Bike Athens is to make alternative transportation a practical, convenient, and safe option for all citizens of Athens-Clarke County.
Safe Campuses Now
Safe Campuses Now is an Athens-based non-profit organization whose mission is crime awareness, education, and prevention. We accomplish our mission through peer-based education, prevention, advocacy, and community service programs. Safe Campuses Now encourages students to take a proactive approach to their safety. Our volunteers are dedicated to the idea that education and awareness are paramount in preventing crimes against students occurring both on and off campus. SCN is a free-standing organization. Our funding comes from grants, corporate partners, and private donations.
Young Professionals Network
The group meets on the first Thursday of each month at varying locations at 6PM. There are no annual dues to pay, but each event costs $10 per person. This money is used to pay for beverages, food, and a meeting location. The group is a great way for the younger, working population of Athens to mix, mingle, and network with one another.
